In 2002, the founder co-founded a holding of 23 companies across Portugal, Brazil, Angola, Cape Verde, and Mozambique, focusing on technology, education, and digital platforms. This experience emphasized the importance of corporate culture based on mutual trust and shared gains, laying the foundation for Principium's creation.

In 2009, the founder began a new chapter in Angola, assuming the leadership of a company where digital process integration, ISO certifications (9001, 14001, 45001), KPIs, staff expansion, leadership development, and new agencies were introduced with a strategic focus.

Simultaneously, in 2018, a company was founded in the United States within the agricultural sector, partnering with producers in Portugal and distributors in Angola. This project involved the entire value chain, from agricultural production to transformation, packaging, storage, marketing, and distribution, establishing a sustainable business model aligned with current laws.

These experiences underscored the value of partnerships based on trust and reciprocity, resulting in expanded product catalogs and new business opportunities. The name Principium has deep roots in Latin, meaning "beginning," "foundation," or "origin." Derived from "princeps" (the first, the most important), the term reflects the concept of something fundamental, serving as a base for all that follows.
